About The Rescue
It Takes A Village Animal Rescue is a small rescue, just founded on October 28, 2014. The founder, Cindy Moulson is trying to help where she can, hoping to make a difference in some animals’ lives.
She can’t do it alone… It takes people like you to help her do what she does. It takes a village…
Our rescue is not breed specific. We pull dogs from down South to keep them from being euthanized. We spay/neuter and micro chip every animal that comes through our doors.
Meet The Owner
I have been around animals all of my life. Most of that time, I had dogs and/or cats. I was raised on a farm around horse, pigs, cows, chickens, and many other farm animals. When I got a bit older I owned a snake (long story…). Around 2012, I stumbled upon volunteer transportation for dogs, cats and other animals, primarily dogs. I did that for about a year and then started helping fill the transportation runs with drivers from all over the country. I then decided I wanted to start fostering, and so I fostered for about 6 months. In October 2014, I saw this cute little pup named Hachi in Georgia and decided I wanted to pull him and start my own rescue. Hachi never left my rescue and is now my own dog. Talk about the epic foster fail! We have saved over 50 dogs per year and still counting. My passion is all living creatures, but for now I am rescuing dogs. As my rescue builds, my dream is to also rescue other animals, including farm animals.
