Our mission is to save animals and to fit them with the perfect families. We understand that there are many types of loving homes: houses, condos, city life/country life. On top of that, we know there are many lifestyles which might require an animal to like water, to love hiking, or possibly be a playmate for another animal. No matter what your lifestyle encompasses, we will work with you to find the perfect partner. (or two!)
Our animals must be a part of the family, meaning they live indoors within the family home.
Every animal that leaves our rescue (that is old enough) is spayed/neutered, and all are micro chipped and up to date on all shots. All animals present in the home must be spayed / neutered prior to adopting from us.
Regular veterinary care, including monthly heartworm preventative, is a requirement.
The order of adoptions goes by the date we receive the application. If you are interested in one of our animals, please fill it out as soon as possible.
Our rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit rescue.
Our Adoption Process
Select Your Companion
Choose from our adoptable pets!
We require you to fill out an adoption application.
We do a home check, where all that spend time in the household must be present.
Once the steps are completed, you will be allowed to adopt the animal.
You will get previous medical records that we have pertaining to your animal when we finalize the adoption.
If, for some chance, you find yourself not being able to care for an animal adopted from It Takes A Village Animal Rescue, Inc., you MUST personally return the animal back to us.
If you would like to set up a meet and greet, please fill out the form below, including the best number to reach you, and we will call you within 48 hours.
