Tapestry is a beautiful 45 pound, 1 to 2 year old brindle Plott Hound/ American Pit Bull Terrier mix. She came to us sick and skinny, but we have nursed her back to health and now she is ready for her forever home. She is a sweet girl who is working hard to learn some manners. She loves to play with her brother, but does not seem to have the social skills to make friends with other dogs. She wants to play, but starts out jumping into play mode with new dogs before letting them get to know her a bit, which doesn’t fare well with the other dogs. Tapestry needs someone to go running or hiking with. She is full of curiosity and energy. She would do best with another dog who is not reactive and is always ready and willing to play with her. We are working on leash training while going for walks in the park. Tapestry is being crate trained and so far she has not had any accidents in the crate or house. She takes treats gently and lets you take anything from her. Tapestry is spayed, micro-chipped and up to date on her shots.
